Cabling Tree

Cabling is  used to help a tree with a split trunk to better resist a storm , trees with heavy foliage, or to support a large branch that is growing in an awkward direction, and it is  not viable or not desired  to be removed in this case. The operation is  a preventive measure.

The method is accomplished by drilling holes in the trunk or branches of the tree in question, into which rods will be inserted and connected together by a steel cable.
